Police are hunting for a man caught on camera trying to sexually assault a woman in Manhattan's lower East Side.
The suspect grabbed a 53-year-old woman as she walked along Attorney St. at 7 a.m. on Oct. 9.
The victim briefly struggled with the attacker before she fought him off, police said.
The attacker fled and was captured nearby by a surveillance camera.
The video shows the man removing a dark-colored cap and leaving it on a car before returning seconds later to retrieve it and walk away.
The woman was taken to Beth Israel hospital.
The suspect is believed to be about 20 years old and about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds.
